It was so pretty this morning when I got up. There was a soft pink light in the sky, and the moon was still visible, so I grabbed my camera and went for a wee wander around the neighbourhood.
My street-We am fortunate that a bus comes down our street, so the raod gets cleared. The other streets in our neighbourhood are still thick with snow, and people are struggling to get their cars out.
The sliver birch trees in our garden:
And a scene at the church at the end of the street:
And a look down at Colinton village.

Pam, your photos are just beautiful. As I sit here in my shorts and tshirt in almost 40degree heat I am shivering looking at all that snow!
Oh there's nothing like your town transformed into a winter wonderland, is there? We get snow maybe once or twice a year and last March we had just enough to blanket everything beautifully for a few hours. It makes one who very rarely sees snow, feel pure giddy. Thanks so much for sharing, Pam! Lovely pics!
I like the one with the red lamp post
Pam it took a while but that snow finally turned up on my doorstep!
Love your photos, especilly like the how the blue door show up in your last shot. :o)
Some really gorgeous photos - I especially love the winter wonderland scene of the church at the end of the street with the lamp post - it looks like a scene from a Christmas card it is so lovely :)
