Week #40 Aberdeen

This weekend we went to visit Emily at Aberdeen University. We were blessed with a gorgeous, sunny autmunal day.
Aberdeen Uni is very old with parts dating from the 15th century. There was a wedding at King's Chapel, within the university grounds. Only ex students and staff are able to be married there.
The stained glass is inside the chapel, and the other photos are within one of the university buildings.
On the way back we stopped at Dunottar Castle.
It is such a dramatic setting on a rocky outcrop overlooking the North Sea.
My favourite photo of the day is the one of the hay bale.

Pam - more gorgeous photos - just love the staircase one! The University looks a beautiful place to study. My friend's daughter has just gone to Aberdeen University to study Philosophy - her name is Anna. Wouldn't it be a small world if your daughter knows her.

Such a treat to see all this via your photos.
