Malcolm's birthday. OK this is a Christmas cake that was on special-but then it's his favourite type of cake, so why not?

365 DAY 19

Today's photo-another view up my street.
This was the snow that was left when I got home at 4:30 this afternoon.
Can you see the hill at the top behind the houses-it is plastered.
So pretty. I love snow.

365 Day 18

Just one photo today-and it's not a good one-out of focus. Too tires and head achy to do anymore. Anyway, it's the embroidery detail on Emily's new ceilidh dress.:

365 Day17

I went to the Edinburgh crop today in it's new home.
It's a church hall, and this meant being able to go into the empty church
and taking these photos.
I chose the photo of the day just because I like the way the light falls on the wall next to the window.

365 Day 16

Another day of taking photos as I was stationary at traffic lights. The photo of the day is a zoom view, so the Scottish Poetry Library building on the left is not well focused. It is not the best photo-but I think the juxtaposition of the modern and tradional architecture, interesting.



Further down the road, at the next set of lights, I just aimed the camera up blindly and got these three views of the Poetry Library.

Then at another set of lights I took these 3 photos of the same house. these dormer windows in the roof are typically Scottish traditional style.
